The most eagerly awaited movie Adurs, starring Jr. NTR under the direction of V.V. Vinayak has hit the theaters. The movie has been making news and creating very high buzz for the past few days. Naturally it had lot of expectations, carrying on it. Has it reached the audience expectations or not, has to be keenly watched.
Story: Jr.NTR stars as Narasimha, a mysterious guy who targets the mafia gangs in the city. The mafia gangs, are highly unsuccessful in tracing out this mysterious guy. On the other hand,Chari (Jr.NTR), a hindu priest is leading a happy life. His guru, Bhattacharya (Brahmanandam) is in love with Chandrakala (Nayanatara) and he requests Chari to help him in this matter. Another gang lead by Ashish Vidyarthi, is looking out for Narasimha. Why are the looking for Narasimha? And who are actually Narasimha and Chari? This is the crux of this story.
Performances: NTR is simply one of the best actors in the entire indian movie industry. His mannerisms, dialogue delivery and dances is simply amazing. He impresses with both the characters he has donned. But his chari role will be remembered for ever and its one of his best performances. Nayanatara and Sheela are both very glamorous and do perform well in the limited scope they got in the movie. Special mention to Dr. Brahmanandam. He has become no less than a hero in recent times. His role as Bhattacharya is simply superb and very hilarious. Other characters like Ashish Vidayrthi, Mahesh Manjrekar, Nassar and Shiyaji Shinde are alright.
Technical Departments: Though there is nothing new in the story given by Kona Venkat, it seems the entire movie has got a very good screenplay and direction by V.V. Vinayak. He has well directed the movie and slightly fumbles here and there. However, audience will never get bored during the movie. Cinematography, Choreography and Editing are top notch. Production values are very good. Art by Anand Sai is great and has to be given special mention.
Conclusion: First half of the movie is really good. Its very very hilarious. But, the movie would have been superb if it had an equally good second half. It fumbles here and there during the second half of the movie. However, if u are awaiting for a movie which is very entertaining, then Adurs should be your bet. This movie has got good potential to become a box office hit.
